Home Improvement Solutions, Built to Be Owned for the Long Term
Sequ-Door manufactures, supplies, and installs every product on this page, and we back each one with a written warranty appropriate to its materials and use. Our aluminium doors and windows are manufactured to AAAMSA standards. Our glazing follows SAGGA-accredited procedures. Our shutters, blinds, gates, bars, and garage doors carry their own product-specific warranty schedules.
All warranties are conditional on the product being used as intended and cared for in line with the relevant care and maintenance document. Misuse, neglect, and unauthorised modifications are not covered. For new and existing customers, the relevant care guides are available on request from our sales team and linked below.
Warranty Coverage by Product Range
Each Sequ-Door product range has its own warranty. The terms below are the written warranty schedule, applicable from the date of installation, subject to the care and maintenance document for that product range, and excluding misuse or neglect.
Aluminium Doors & Windows
Manufactured and Installed to AAAMSA and SAGGA standards.
- 5 years on aluminium profiles against defective powder coating
- 5 years on glass against delamination
- 12 months on hardware
- 12 months on installation workmanship
All defects are verified against neglect and are subject to care and maintenance as laid out in our “Aluminium – using and maintaining” document. Available on request.

Expandable Security Gates
Includes Side Lock, Face-On, Off-Center, and Centre Lock configurations, plus Security Window Sliders.
- 5-year warranty on all inside installations
- 3-year warranty on all outside installations
- Warranties cover major rust and powder coating peeling
- 12 months on hardware – including locks
- 12 months on installation workmanship
All defects are verified against neglect and are subject to care and maintenance as laid out in our “Security – using and maintaining” document. This is to ensure your Sequ-Door security product works optimally for the long term.
Aluminium Security Shutters & Aluminium Lite Shutters
Both shutter ranges share the same warranty structure.
- 10 years on aluminium profiles – interior installations
- 5 years on aluminium profiles – exterior installations
- 5 years on hardware – interior and exterior
- 12 months on installation workmanship
All defects are verified against neglect and are subject to care and maintenance,
Indoor Timber Shutters
FSC-approved solid timber shutters for interior installation only.
- 2 years on materials and components
- 12 months on installation workmanship
All defects are verified against neglect and are subject to care and maintenance as laid out in the BHS Care and Maintenance document.
Burglar Bars & Security Window Fixtures
Steel Flat Bars, Steel Round Bars, Clear Polycarbonate Bars, and Security Window Fixtures.
- 5-year warranty on inside installations (these products are not installed outside)
- Warranties cover major rust and powder coating peeling only
- 12 months on hardware (if applicable)
- 12 months on installation workmanship
All defects are verified against neglect and are subject to care and maintenance as laid out in our “Security – using and maintaining” document.
Blinds
Covers the full range – Roller, Venetian, Zebra, Honeycomb, Vertical, and motorised blinds (including Motionblinds technology).
- 2 years on manufacturing defects in materials, mechanisms, fabrics, motors, and hardware
- 12 months on workmanship and installation for products installed by Sequ-Door
- No cover for misuse or neglect
All defects are verified against neglect and are subject to fair care and maintenance.
Garage Doors
Sectional aluminium garage doors including Alu-Flute, Alu-Glass, Aluminium Composite, Aluzinc, and Frameless Glass ranges.
- 3 years on aluminium profiles against defective powder coating
- 3 years on glass against delamination
- 2 years on Aluzinc and Alu-Flute products against defective powder coating
- 2 years on the motor
- 12 months on hardware
- 12 months on installation workmanship
All defects are verified against neglect and are further subject to care and maintenance.
Insect Screens
Insect Door Screens and Insect Window Screens.
- 12 months on insect screens for latent product defects
- 12 months on hardware
- 12 months on installation workmanship
- No cover for misuse or neglect

Maintenance Tips
Keep Tracks, Hinges, and Mechanisms Clean
Dust, sand, and salt are the main wear factors on sliding tracks, hinges, and locking hardware. Wipe tracks down regularly with a damp cloth, vacuum out debris from runners, and apply a light lubricant to hinges and locks every six to twelve months.
Wash Powder-Coated Aluminium with Mild Soap and Water

Inspect Locks and Hardware Annually
Once a year, check that all locks engage cleanly, deadbolts throw smoothly, hinges are tight, and weather seals are intact. Catching a worn part early protects the warranty and the longer-life components around it.

Provide Proof of Purchase
Have your original invoice or installation date available. We will match it against our records and confirm the warranty period that applies to your product.
Schedule Inspection
We will arrange a site visit to verify the defect, confirm the cause is covered by warranty, and agree the repair or replacement. All defects are verified by our suppliers against any neglect, in line with the relevant care and maintenance document.
We do not run away and will honour our warranty commitments.
