Maximum Window Protection with Sequ-Door Steel Round Burglar Bars
Our 16mm steel burglar bars are a high-spec security solution for homeowners who want one of our strongest possible barrier protections for their windows – built tough, powder-coated to match, and professionally installed.
One of the Strongest Burglar Bars for Windows in Our Range
When it comes to securing your windows, Steel Round Bars represent one of the highest levels of protection in the Sequ-Door burglar bar range. Each round tube is manufactured from 16mm steel and anchored by 38mm x 25mm rectangular tubing, which is then secured on both sides for a rigid, reliable fit. If the reveal is wider, we will add supporting mullions to increase protection. These are the steel burglar bars you choose when maximum barrier protection is the priority.
Powder-coated to match your existing window frames, they provide strong, discreet protection without compromising the aesthetic of your home. Whether you are securing bedrooms, kitchens, or any other high-priority windows, Sequ-Door’s Steel Round Bars are custom-made to your exact opening dimensions and professionally installed by our experienced team.

FAQs
What are Steel Round Bars made from?
Each bar is manufactured from 16mm round steel tubing, anchored into 38mm x 25mm rectangular tubing. The entire frame is then secured on both sides of your window opening, creating a rigid and reliable barrier protection system.
Are Steel Round Bars the strongest burglar bars in the Sequ-Door range?
Steel Round Bars are one of the highest-spec fixed burglar bar option we offer. They are recommended for windows where maximum security is the priority, as the 16mm steel construction provides an extra level of barrier protection compared to our flat bar alternatives which only cover the window vent openings.
Can steel burglar bars be custom-sized to my windows?
Yes. All our Steel Round Bars are custom-cut to fit your specific window opening dimensions. Our team will take measurements to ensure a precise, secure fit before manufacturing.
Do the bars come in different colours?
Yes. Standard powder-coated colours include White, Bronze, Charcoal, Black, and Silver. A full range of non-standard and custom colours are also available, so your burglar bars can be matched to your existing window frames.
Will the bars obstruct my entire window?
Yes – Steel Round Bars cover the full window opening, which is what gives them their high-spec security rating. If you prefer a solution that only covers the vent opening and leaves more of the window unobstructed, our Steel Flat Bars or Clear Poly Carb Bars may be a better fit.
Do you offer professional installation of burglar guards for windows?
Yes. Our experienced team handles the full process – from measurement through to installation – ensuring your window security bars are correctly fitted and working reliably from day one.
What is the warranty on Steel Round Bars?
Outside installations carry a 3-year warranty and inside installations a 5-year warranty, both covering major rust and powder coating peeling. Hardware and workmanship are covered for 12 months. Warranties do not cover misuse or neglect.
Can I install steel round bars alongside other Sequ-Door security products?
Absolutely. Steel Round Bars pair well with our expandable security gates and security shutters for a layered approach to home protection. Our team can advise on the best combination for your specific property.
