Make a Statement with Aluminium Pivot Doors
Transform your entrance with pivot doors that command attention – bold, oversized, and crafted to make a lasting impression on everyone who walks through your door.
Aluminium Pivot Doors – Where Architecture Meets Drama
Pivot doors are the showpiece of modern architecture – and our aluminium pivot doors for sale in Gauteng are engineered to deliver exactly that. Unlike traditional hinged doors, a pivot door rotates on a top and bottom pivot point, allowing for impressive panel widths of up to 1500 mm and heights of up to 2600 mm. The result is a grand, seamless entrance that simply cannot be achieved with a standard door.
At Sequ-Door, we offer two distinct collections; Classic Elegance and Modern Minimalism – so whether your home leans towards timeless sophistication or clean contemporary lines, there is an aluminium pivot door to match your vision. Premium materials, precise craftsmanship, and a roller catch with a deadlock come standard, ensuring your striking entrance is as secure as it is beautiful.

FAQs
What makes pivot doors different from standard hinged doors?
Unlike hinged doors that rotate on side-mounted hinges, pivot doors rotate on a top and bottom pivot point. This allows for much larger panel sizes (up to 1500 mm wide and 2600 mm high) creating a dramatic, architectural entrance that a standard door simply cannot achieve.
What are the maximum dimensions for aluminium pivot doors?
Our pivot doors can be manufactured from 750 mm up to 1500 mm in width, and up to 2600 mm in height. Our team will advise on the best size for your opening during the measurement visit.
What are the two pivot door collections on offer?
We offer the Classic Elegance collection (featuring timeless, traditional design details for heritage and period-inspired homes) and the Modern Minimalism collection, which embraces clean lines and a sleek contemporary aesthetic for modern architecture.
What glass options are available for pivot doors?
You can specify clear, tinted, frosted/translucent, Low-E (low-emissivity), or double-glazed glass. Given the large panel sizes typical of pivot entrance doors, Low-E glass is an excellent choice for managing heat and energy efficiency. Double glazing provides an even higher level of thermal insulation.
Are modern aluminium pivot doors secure?
Yes. Every pivot door includes a roller catch with a deadlock as standard. For an additional layer of protection at your entrance, a security gate in front of the pivot door is a popular and effective option.
Do pivot doors require any special weatherproofing?
Because pivot doors have no bottom sill, we recommend installing an overhead canopy or similar structure above the entrance to weatherproof the threshold and prevent water ingress at the base. Our team will advise on the best solution for your specific installation during the consultation and measurement visit.
Are chrome handles standard on pivot doors?
Chrome handles are available as an optional upgrade rather than a standard inclusion, allowing you to tailor the hardware to your preferred aesthetic and budget.
What are the aluminium pivot doors prices?
Pivot door pricing depends on the collection, size, glass type, and selected options. Each door is manufactured to order, so we provide a detailed quote after measuring your opening. Contact our team for a free, no-obligation consultation.
Where do you install pivot doors in Gauteng?
Sequ-Door installs aluminium pivot doors across Gauteng – including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand, The Vaal, East Rand, and West Rand.
