Professional Installers

Sequ-Door doesn’t just manufacture aluminium and security products, we install every one of them ourselves, with AAAMSA-accredited teams that know how to finish a job properly. No subcontracting, no exceptions.

Professional Installers
Who Take Responsibility From Start to Finish

A great aluminium window or door installed badly is just an expensive way to let water in. Half the value of a Sequ-Door product is how cleanly it gets fitted to your home – square reveals, proper seals, neat finishes against existing surfaces, and no callbacks because something wasn’t lined up right. The stakes are even higher on wood-to-aluminium and steel-to-aluminium conversions, and on broader home conversions where reveals are being modified or widened. That work is labour-intensive and genuinely technical, and exactly where install quality makes or breaks the result.

Our own teams install the full Sequ-Door product range across Gauteng: aluminium windows and doors, expandable security gates with SLAM-lock hardware, burglar bars, aluminium security shutters, indoor timber shutters, the full blinds range, aluminium garage doors and insect screens. Same factory, same accountable team, same warranty path. We don’t subcontract installations. Every Sequ-Door product is installed by Sequ-Door.

Why Traditional Options Fall Short

DIY Installation

Saves the install fee, voids manufacturer warranties, almost always leaks under driving rain. On a wood-to-aluminium or steel-to-aluminium conversion where reveals get modified, old material has to come out cleanly, and finishes need to be protected. This is technical, labour-intensive work for accredited installers.

Handyman or Generic Installer

No AAAMSA training, no understanding of glazing tolerances or seal specifications, no warranty backbone when a frame moves or a glazing bead cracks twelve months in.

Supplier Without Installation

Buy from one company, find your own installer for another, and good luck working out who’s responsible when something doesn’t line up. Single accountability matters more than people realise.

Combine Style, Durability, and Performance

Sequ-Door’s installation service is the reason the product range performs to spec. Same factory that built it, same in-house team through to the final silicone seal. No subcontracting, no exceptions, no matter which product line you’re fitting.

AAAMSA-Accredited and Entirely In-House

Sequ-Door holds installation AAAMSA accreditation in addition to manufacturing. Every install, across every product line, is done by our own teams. We don’t subcontract to outside installers.

Demanding Conversion Work, Done In-House

Wood-to-aluminium and steel-to-aluminium conversions, plus broader home conversions, are the most labour-intensive and technical work we do. Reveals get modified or widened, existing finishes have to be protected, and old timber or steel needs to come out cleanly. This is exactly where install quality matters most, and exactly why we don’t hand it to anyone else.

Security Installed by the Same Team

Expandable security gates with SLAM-lock hardware, burglar bars (steel flat bars, round bars, polycarbonate bars, security window sliders, security window fixtures), and aluminium security shutters – all installed by Sequ-Door teams. Hardware properly aligned, locks properly seated, anchors set and fastened securely.

Blinds, Indoor Shutters and Garage Doors Too

The full blinds range, indoor timber shutters, and aluminium garage doors are also fitted by our own teams. Blinds and shutters measured and aligned to spec; garage doors hung, balanced, and set up with the correct motor configuration so they actually work the way they’re supposed to.

Backed by the Sequ-Door Warranty

One product warranty, one installation warranty, one point of accountability. If something needs revisiting, you call us, not a chain of subcontractors. Because there is no chain.

Yes, our aluminium sliding doors are designed for both indoor and outdoor applications. The weather-resistant seals and durable aluminium construction provide excellent protection against rain, wind, and temperature fluctuations, making them ideal for patio and garden access.

Standard sliding doors require minimal maintenance. Simply wipe down the frames and glass periodically, clean the tracks to remove debris, and lubricate the rollers annually. The powder-coated finish offers excellent durability, maintaining its appearance for years with basic care.

We offer clear, tinted, frosted/translucent, Low-E (low-emissivity), and double-glazed glass options. Low-E glass improves thermal efficiency by reflecting heat whilst allowing natural light through. Double glazing provides even greater insulation – ideal if comfort and energy efficiency are priorities.

Typical installation takes one to two days, depending on the configuration and any preparatory work required. Our efficient installers minimise disruption whilst ensuring precise fitment and quality results.

Standard colours include White, Bronze, Charcoal, Black, and Silver. A full range of non-standard and custom colours including wood-look finishes are also available. Standard colours are more cost-effective and have shorter lead times.

Standard sliding doors include a lever latch lock as standard – practical for day-to-day use. For a more secure solution, many homeowners pair their sliding doors with a security gate or security shutters in front, which significantly improves overall protection. Burglar bars on adjacent windows add a further layer of security.
