What products does Sequ-Door manufacture and install?
Sequ-Door manufactures and installs the full range of aluminium doors and windows (sliding, stacking, hinged, pivot, palace, stable, top hung, side hung, side light, top light, fixed panel, butt joint, bay, and vertical/horizontal sliding), expandable security gates, burglar bars, aluminium security and Lite shutters, indoor timber shutters, the full blinds range (roller, Venetian, zebra, honeycomb, vertical, and motorised), aluminium garage doors, and insect screens. Every product is custom-made to your opening and installed by our own teams.
Which areas does Sequ-Door service?
Sales and installation services are provided across the greater Gauteng region including Johannesburg, Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand, The Vaal, East Rand, and West Rand. Some outlying rejoins are also included. Our manufacturing facility is located at Pilkington Industrial Park, corner Johan le Roux and Morris Street, Meyerton. As a SADC-registered exporter, we also supply distribution and trade partners across neighbouring SADC countries as well as within South Africa in areas outside of Gauteng.
How do I get a quote and what does the process look like?

After the site visit, we issue a detailed, no-obligation quote covering specifications, finish options, and lead times. Once you confirm, we manufacture to specification and book in the installation date with you
Will I need to pay for a quotation?
No. We believe that providing a quotation is an important part of building trust with our customers, and therefore, our quotations are completely free of charge. Our Sales Representatives will visit you at your convenience and formulate a solution based on your needs and budget.
Does Sequ-Door do its own installations, or do you subcontract?
Every Sequ-Door product is installed by Sequ-Door. We never subcontract installations across aluminium doors and windows, security gates, burglar bars, security shutters, indoor timber shutters, blinds, garage doors, or insect screens. The team that builds your product is the team that fits it. This is particularly important on wood/steel-to-aluminium and home conversions, which are the most technical work we do.
What if I cannot afford to secure my entire home?
Then we prioritize. The safety of you and your family is our top priority, and we want to help you create a secure living environment. If you cannot afford to secure your entire home, we can create a safe zone first, by securing your bedrooms and passages to keep intruders away from you and your family at night when you are at your most vulnerable. Our sales consultants will be able to advise you on the options that best suit your needs.
What standard colours and finishes are available?
Standard aluminium colours across most ranges are White, Bronze, Charcoal, Black, and Silver. A full range of non-standard and custom colours, including wood-look finishes, is available on request and typically carry a longer lead time and a slightly higher price. Specific colour ranges for blinds, shutters and timber finishes are confirmed at consultation.
Is Sequ-Door AAAMSA and SAGGA accredited, and can I get a glazing certificate?
Yes. Sequ-Door is a member of the Association of Architectural Aluminium Manufacturers of South Africa (AAAMSA) and is accredited by the South African Glass and Glazing Association (SAGGA). All our aluminium doors and windows are manufactured to AAAMSA standards, and our glazing follows SAGGA-accredited procedures. AAAMSA Certificates and SAGGA Glazing Certificates are available on request on completion of any aluminium installation.
What warranties do Sequ-Door products come with?
Every product range has its own written warranty, ranging from 12 months through to 10 years depending on the product, the component, and whether the installation is interior or exterior. Aluminium doors and windows carry 5 years on profiles and glass. Security and Lite shutters carry up to 10 years on aluminium profiles interior. Does Sequ-Door offer after-sales service?
Yes. After-sales service is built into how we operate. We supply, install, and follow up. This includes maintenance, repairs on products we have installed, assistance with warranty claims, and answering any questions that come up after handover. Our care and maintenance guides are available on request to help you keep your installation in warranty condition.
